Half Time Instructor, School of Psychology and Counseling (Req 1615)
Caldwell University invites applications for a Half-Time Instructor for the School of Psychology and Counseling beginning immediately. The Half-Time Instructor responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Teaching one course a semester in psychology and/or counseling.
- Coordinating graduate student practicum and internship experiences for Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, and Art Therapy.
- Curating art therapy galleries that showcase student artwork.
- Advising students and participation in university committees.
- Participation in all program, departmental, and university activities.
Requirements: Masters in Counseling required. Prior successful university teaching experience, clinical counseling experience, and a background in art a plus. Active memberships in professional counseling associations and NJ license eligibility (LPC), and a PhD from a CACREP accredited Counselor Education Program preferred. Participants must be willing to support the Catholic Dominican mission of the university.
