Non-Matriculating Visiting Students
Non-matriculating and visiting students may only accumulate a maximum of 12 credits through the Registrar’s Office before they MUST apply for matriculation (going through the admissions process).
The comprehensive fee supports the many services that are provided to all of our students. Some of these services include but are not limited to academic support services, parking and security, library services, student activities and cultural events, the wellness center, fitness center activities and online services. This fee allows us to provide services to all students, and all students are invited to avail themselves to them.
The comprehensive fee is exclusive of course and special fees required for certain courses. A complete list of special fees may be found in the university catalog.
Technology fee supports the IT infrastructure, wireless environment, classroom and lab equipment, and technical support to students.
Some courses you may take will have a course or lab fee that is assessed along with tuition for the course and is related to certifications, supplies, or other provisions that will be required to complete the course. Questions regarding these fees can be addressed with your professor, the Department Chair, or the Academic Dean.
Participation in Commencement ceremonies is not required, however, all students who are graduating (Dec, May, Aug) are charged this fee. Though this fee in part supports provision of Commencement events for all graduating students (whether they choose to attend or not), there are also activities outside of Commencement events involved with conferring a degree on a student such as their Degree Audit to confirm completion of degree requirements, a certified Diploma, and officially becoming a member of the Alumni of Caldwell University. The provision of celebrating and confirming graduates leading up to, including, and following Commencement helps us provide these experiences to all graduates of Caldwell University.
