Assistant Men’s Baseball Coach (Part-time) (Req. 2052)
Caldwell University invites applications for a part-time Head Men’s Baseball Coach to begin immediately. Reporting to the Head Coach, the Assistant Men’s Baseball Coach is responsible for assisting with team coaching duties and student athlete management. The Assistant Coach is also responsible for directing and overseeing all activities the team participates in, while communicating and integrating the mission of the University and the philosophy of the Athletic Department within the program. Job Duties include but are not limited to, assisting with student athlete recruitment, ensuring proper maintenance of records, supplying the compliance officer with required paperwork, supporting the head coach in the coaching and managing the total intercollegiate program, scouting opponents when applicable, assisting in the coaching and supervising of all games, scrimmages, and practices, making travel arrangements, and driving vehicles if necessary.
Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus two to three years of effective experience in athletic coaching. CPR certification and must successfully complete the NCAA Division II Education Modules prior to recruiting off campus. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Candidates must be willing to support the Catholic Dominican mission of the university.
Assistant Coach, Football (Part-Time) (Req.2047)
Caldwell University invites applications for five part-time Assistant Football Coaches. Reporting to the Head Coach, the Assistant Sprint Football Coach is responsible for assisting with team coaching duties and student athlete management. The Assistant Coach is also responsible for directing and overseeing all activities the team participates in, while communicating and integrating the mission of the University and the philosophy of the Athletic Department within the program. Job Duties include but are not limited to, assisting with student athlete recruitment, ensuring proper maintenance of records, supplying the compliance officer with required paperwork when assigned, supporting the head coach in the coaching and managing the total intercollegiate program, scouting opponents when applicable, assisting in the coaching and supervising of all games, scrimmages, and practices, making travel arrangements, and driving vehicles if necessary.

Defensive Coordinator PT (Req. 2046)
Caldwell University invites applications for a part-time Defensive Coordinator for Sprint Football. Reporting to the Head Coach for coaching the Defensive unit, the Defensive Coordinator is responsible for instructing and mentoring players, individually and in groups, regarding the rules, regulations, equipment, strategy, and fundamental techniques of the sport to prepare them physically and mentally for competition. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
-Working under the direction for the Head Coach in Overseeing/Coordinating the Defensive unit of the Sprint Football team.
-Implementing, managing and developing the philosophy of the Defensive Staff.
-Working with the Head Coach in coordinating the recruiting efforts of the Defensive unit.
-Implementing and Overseeing the development of Camps/Clinics.
-Assisting with fundraising efforts as assigned by the Head Coach.
-Assisting the Head Coach in the coaching and management of the intercollegiate program. Communicating and integrating the mission of the University and the philosophy of the Athletic Department within the program.
-Assisting in the coaching and supervising of all games, scrimmages, and practices during championship and non-championship seasons.
-Working with student athletes on individual development plans during non-championship seasons.
-Formulating training and game plans to be approved by the Head Coach.
-Evaluating and scouting opponents. Instructing all team members of scouting report information for the purposes of improving player development and success as a student-athlete as assigned by the Head Coach.
-Adhering to and educating student athletes on all NCAA, CSFL & CACC policies and procedures.
-Mentoring athletes in regards to student well-being and mental health issues.
-Working with athletics administrators to handle other program administrative responsibilities, as assigned. Drive vehicles when necessary.

Assistant Women’s Acrobatics and Tumbling Coach (Part-Time) (Req. #1994)
Caldwell University invites applications for a part time Assistant Women’s Acrobatics and Tumbling Coach. Reporting to the Head Coach, the Assistant Women’s Acrobatics and Tumbling Coach is responsible for assisting with team coaching duties and student athlete management. The Assistant Coach is also responsible for directing and overseeing all activities the team participates in, while communicating and integrating the mission of the University and the philosophy of the Athletic Department within the program. Job Duties include but are not limited to, assisting with student athlete recruitment, ensuring proper maintenance of records, supporting the head coach in the coaching and managing the total intercollegiate program, scouting opponents when applicable, assisting in the coaching and supervising of all games, scrimmages, and practices, making travel arrangements, and driving vehicles if necessary.
Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, plus one to two years of effective experience required. Must have a valid driver’s license and be available to work evenings/weekends as needed. CPR certification and the successful completion of the NCAA recruiting test will also be required after the employee has been hired. Candidates must be willing to support the Catholic Dominican, liberal arts mission of the University.
