First Day Complete is a course material delivery model that simplifies the student experience, lowers the cost of materials, and ensures students have access to all of their required course materials on or before the first day of class. Through this innovative program, physical books are conveniently packaged and provided to students on a rental basis, and access to digital material is directly within the campus LMS, included for a $21 per enrolled credit hour course charge applied to your student account, representing an average savings of 35-50%. At the end of the term, students will receive email reminders to return rented physical course materials to the bookstore.

• Register for your classes and the bookstore will start preparing your course materials
• One month before classes start, you will receive an email instructing you to select your delivery preference (in-store pickup or shipped directly to you)
• An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pickup or when it ships
• Your digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within the LMS

Only undergraduate students are eligible to participate in this program.

The program provides all required textbooks, eTextbooks, lab manuals, and access codes to eligible students

The program does not include consumable course supplies that cannot be returned and reused such as lab goggles, dissection kits, molecular model kits, engineering kits or nursing kits

All eligible students will be automatically enrolled in the First Day® Complete program.

Students have the option to opt-out of the First Day® Complete program each semester during the opt-out window. The opt-out window for the Spring 2024 term is open starting January 2, 2024, through February 2, 2024. By opting out, students will not receive their required materials in a convenient package and access to digital content will be removed after the opt-out window closes. To change your opt-out status and opt into the First Day® Complete program, please click Opt Back In or follow the instructions found in your opt-out confirmation email. Please note you must make your final selection by February 2, 2024.

Your First Day® Complete materials can be picked up in the campus bookstore or shipped directly to you.  Please choose your preference by verifying your order. 

Once you have verified your order you will receive a notice that it is ready for pickup in the bookstore or has shipped (depending on your selection).  Orders are generally completed in less than 24 to 48 hours.

If you opt-out of First Day® Complete, you will not receive your required physical materials in a convenient bundle and access to any digital materials delivered directly to Blackboard will be removed after the opt-out window has closed (February 2, 2024, for the Spring 2024 semester). You will be responsible for obtaining all required course materials on your own if you opt-out of First Day® Complete. The campus bookstore has all required materials available for purchase in-store or online.

First Day® Complete is a rental program. Physical course materials are issued on a rental basis and must be returned to the campus bookstore no later than the last day of final exams for the semester. You will receive rental return reminders at the end of the term with instructions for returning your rental materials in person to the campus bookstore or via a convenient pre-paid shipping label.

You may purchase your rental materials prior to the end of the semester (last day of final exams) for a discounted rate by following the instructions received in the rental return reminders you will receive at the end of the term or by logging into your account on the bookstore website.
