Art Scholarship

Interested in majoring in Art? Apply for the Caldwell University Art Scholarship! 

Art scholarships are open to accepted undergraduate freshman and transfer students who have declared as art majors at Caldwell University.

Art portfolio submissions for prospective students are due by Dec 1 for Spring and February 1 for Fall.

Portfolio Requirements

• Include at least 10 different works (preferably from within the last two years).
• Works can be of any medium.
• Label each work: title, year, dimensions, and medium.

Format

• Digital format is preferred.
• Applicants may send a PowerPoint file or attach separate digital files in a single email to the Art Department Liaison.
• If shared via Google Drive, please allow permission to access and download your portfolio.

Review Process

• Art faculty will review portfolios as they are submitted within the confines of the submission dates
• Faculty will score portfolios and send their highest recommendations to Admissions to then determine scholarship amount
• Students will be informed of award and scholarship amount from the art department liaison
