BFA in Graphic Design
The B.F.A. in Graphic Design prepares you to enter into a professional design career or to pursue further study on a graduate level. The BFA offers an extensive art curriculum competitive with programs in major art schools. This degree is designed to develop technical competence, critical judgment, and a strong commitment to artistic quality.
Our design curriculum provides graduates with the opportunity to find employment in challenging and creative positions, where their skills can be tailored to fit the graphic needs of the professional design world in many diverse areas such as advertising firms, business corporations and industries, computer gaming industry, commercial graphics businesses, desktop publishing firms, museums, television and film industries, publishing companies and many others.
Students have access to a fully-equipped Maclab, loaded with Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard software. Students pursuing Graphic Design track often minor in Business. Speak with your faculty advisor to learn more about adding a Minor.
