Proof of English Proficiency: Students must submit SAT scores, ACT scores, TOEFL scores (minimum of 70 or 4 for new tests), IELTS scores (minimum of 6.0), Duolingo scores (minimum of 105), PTE Academic test scores (minimum of 48), Pearson English Express Test (minimum of 53) or ELS Level 112 Certificate of Completion. The English language requirement may be waived at the discretion of the Office of Admissions for students whose native language is English. A list of these countries can be found here.
SAT/ACT (Optional): Caldwell University is now test-optional. Applicants have the option to include SAT and/or ACT scores as part of their application requirements. It is your personal decision as to whether you will or will not submit these test scores. This policy is for students applying to all majors. Applicants who have already received a decision for a start term may not reapply test-optional for that same term. Students who submit SAT/ACT reports with scores above 1100 (SAT) or 23 (ACT) may be eligible for an additional academic scholarship (St. Thomas Aquinas Scholarship).

APPLICATION DEADLINES
International Students applying for F1 non-immigrant status must abide by the following deadlines:
*Fall Semester (August): June 1st
*Spring Semester: (January): December 1st
These deadlines represent the dates by which a complete application with ALL necessary supporting documents must be received by the university.
These deadlines are not flexible due to the amount of time it takes to apply for a Form I-20 and then obtain a student (F1) visa.
