Jazz Ensemble

The Caldwell University Jazz Ensemble plays a wide variety of jazz, from Bebop, Hard Bob, Jazz Fusion and other modern styles, to Latin and Brazilian jazz. The band is flexible, sometimes in the form of a small jazz group, sometimes like a small big band. Singers may perform with the band, but it is oriented mostly toward instrumental music. In general, the ensemble is designed to feature the strengths and interests of the band members. The Jazz Ensemble is open to qualified music majors, minors, and other qualified students. Community members may be involved as well.  Performance opportunities range from playing at a local coffee shop to concerts on campus, and various other streamed and in-person events.
