Literacy Center
Mission Statement
Founded in 2011, the Literacy Center at Caldwell University provides students with a safe and rigorous learning environment to grow as a reader.
Driven by the university’s core values of respect, integrity, community, and excellence, we support students with individualized reading and writing instruction as evidenced by research.
About Us
The Literacy Center at Caldwell University offers one-on-one and small group instruction literacy tutoring for students in Grades K-5. Our 60-minute sessions are provided by NJ-certified teachers who are enrolled as graduate students in our Masters in Literacy program. Sessions are tailored to meet students’ needs and are available in person on Wednesday evenings from 4:30-7:30 pm on the second floor of the Jennings Library. Pre-registration is required.
