Personal motto: Great is finite; better is infinite. Let’s keep aiming for better.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Speech Communications and Public Relations from Miami University in Oxford, OH, Christine traveled to New York City where she spent her early years working both back of house and front of house in high profile restaurants while pursuing opportunities in playwriting and performance. Her journey back into the office began in 2004, where she has since served in various marketing and communications capacities for non-profit, start-up, corporate and creative organizations. She has spent the past decade exclusively in higher education enrollment marketing and communications. In her free time, she can be found doing research for and writing her novel, crafting pub quiz games for local establishments, and, when it’s NFL season, screaming at her beloved Detroit Lions on TV.

Barbara Kivlon

I have dedicated 35 years to the field of education in the West Orange School District, where I served as an elementary school teacher, staff development trainer, and instructional leader. For 13 wonderful years, I had the honor of being Principal of Redwood School, working alongside exceptional students, families, and colleagues. In 2015, I retired from the district, but my educational journey continued. I joined the Department of Education at the university as an adjunct professor, where I teach and mentor future educators. I also serve as a supervisor of clinical interns and the coordinator of field placement, helping to prepare the next generation of teachers for meaningful and successful careers. Education has always been my passion, and I feel privileged to have spent my career inspiring, leading, and supporting both students and teachers. Graduating magna cum laude from Seton Hall University with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and my Master’s degree in Administration, I also hold certifications as an Early Childhood Teacher and a Teacher of Reading. How blessed to be a graduate of Mount Saint Dominic Academy as well!
