Northamption, MA – Caldwell University students Satyam Regmi, Anuj Khadka, and Samarpan Poudel recently attended the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges Northeastern (CCSCNE) Conference 2026, where they presented their research alongside students and faculty from institutions across the region.

During the conference, Samarpan Poudel earned second place for Best Research Poster, earning the recognition for the quality of his work among participating undergraduate researchers.

Caldwell students conducted their work under the mentorship of Professor Vlad Veksler, Ph.D., whose guidance was instrumental to their preparation and development of their research presentations.

The CCSCNE conference brings together students, faculty, and professionals in computing and related fields to share research, exchange ideas, and explore developments in computer science education and innovation. Undergraduate participants have the opportunity to present their projects, receive feedback from peers and faculty, and engage with members of the broader computing community.

Participation in conferences such as CCSCNE allows Caldwell students to showcase their academic work beyond the classroom while developing valuable experience presenting research and communicating complex ideas to a wider audience.
