CELEBRATING THE CAROLINE WARD ROMANS ’68 CHILDREN’S LITERATURE COLLECTION

A dedication of the Caroline Ward Romans ’68 Children’s Literature Collection was held Sept. 24 during Homecoming and Reunion Weekend. Romans ’68, a children’s literature expert, gifted Caldwell with the collection featuring 1,000 books. It is now showcased in Jennings Library. CU VERITAS AWARD 2023

The 36th June Dwyer Castano Veritas Award honorees are L to R: Board of Trustees member Mary Sellitto-Curcio ’83, who received the Excellence in Humanitarian Endeavors Award; Sister Mary John Kearney, O.P. ’62, who received the Excellence in Higher Education Award; Nancy Hurtz-Soyka ’71, who received the Excellence in International Relations Award, and Roger Monel ’00, who received the Excellence in Community Activism Award.

SUPER SATURDAY ALUMNI EVENT

In honor of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the Caldwell Athletics Department recognized the University’s top 50 female student-athletes over the last 50 years, along with current and former trailblazers who have championed and advanced women’s athletics at Caldwell. The ceremony took place between the women’s and men’s basketball games at the Super Saturday Alumni Event.

GOLF CLASSIC


The 34th annual Golf Classic, presented by Uplevel Entrepreneur, was held June 12 at the Essex Fells Country Club. Proceeds from this event benefit the Caldwell University Scholarship Fund and the Bruce Gallagher Memorial Scholarship.
