Accepted Students Day Brings Future Cougars to Caldwell University Campus
Caldwell, NJ – The Class of 2030 began their journey with Caldwell University at Accepted Students Day on Saturday, April 18, 2026. It was a beautiful day for prospective students and their families to explore campus and connect with faculty, staff and future classmates.
Robert Herr, Vice President for Enrollment Management, kicked off the day with warm words of welcome.
“Caldwell really prides itself on, not just our Catholic tradition, but also our mission. We have four pillars… respect, integrity, community, and excellence. And you’re going to find those values in every part of your experience here.”
The students and their families heard from Father Jim Manos, Campus Minister, and Dr. Jeffrey Senese, Caldwell University President. A highlight of the day came from current first-year nursing student, Clara Santos, who reflected on her own Accepted Students Day experience just one year ago.
Clara shared what drew her to the university.
“The main reason why I chose Caldwell was the fact that when I stepped on campus, I just felt at home. Even though I only live 45 minutes away without traffic, my family can tell you they rarely see me.”
Following opening remarks, the students attended breakout sessions within their academic schools, where they met faculty and learned more about their intended majors. Meanwhile, parents heard from a panel of administrators and had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the university.
Following the academic sessions and panel discussion, students and their families were treated to lunch in the dining hall. They had the rest of the day to explore the tables for student services and organizations set up outside the Student Center and take tours of campus.
With National Decision Day approaching on May 1, admitted students are encouraged to secure their spots in the Class of 2030 by submitting their enrollment deposit, which can be done here. For next steps and additional resources, visit the Accepted Students portal here.
