ARTIST STATEMENT

To sit alone and to feel the pure essence of your own being without external distractions or influences can be either comforting or intimidating.

To reflect this essence onto others; whether that is a friend, family, or lover, can make it hard to decipher whether your feelings are yours or
the persons looking back at you. What you see in people is a reflection of who you believe yourself to be, whether it is positive or negative, conscious or unconscious.

It is purely just a mirrored perspective. Do you see people or do you feel them? You can be a witness to the surface value of one’s character, but can you feel the emotional impact of their presence?

My work is deeply rooted in a personal history of emotional healing and spiritual exploration. I continue to grapple with my artistic identity, navigating between realism and abstraction. My work speaks about the phenomenon beyond the material world. My work is an exploration of the
self—of the unseen, the spiritual, and the mystical—depicted through a visual language of color, line, and form.
