Professor Bob Mann

Professor Bob Mann, chair of the Communication Arts Department, will host a special broadcast about New Jersey’s 350th anniversary. The program, part of the “Humanities Connection” series for the NJ Council for the Humanities, will be broadcast on WFDU 89.1 on Sunday March 30 at 8 a.m. WFDU can be heard throughout the tri-state region. After the broadcast, highlights will be archived at www.njch.org. Mann’s guests are Michael Aaron Rockland, professor of American Studies at Rutgers and Sara Cureton, director of the NJ Historical Commission. New Jersey was once the movie capital of the world and the “cockpit” of the American Revolution. The anniversary is based on the British establishment of the Jersey Colony in 1664.
