Preparing Children on the Autism Spectrum for First Communion featured on SiriusXM Satellite Radio
Dr. Ruth DeBar, associate professor and director of outreach at Caldwell University’s Center for Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis, and Dr. Mary Beth Walsh, a mother with a child on the autism spectrum, and editor and contributor to the book “Autism and Faith: A Journey into Community” joined Father Dave Dwyer on The Busted Halo Show on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. They discussed how to prepare children on the autism spectrum for First Communion, the Center’s work in this area, and the resources available to help parents and families.
