WESTLAKE, Ohio — Seventy-six Caldwell student-athletes earned a total of 84 Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Awards during the 2022-23 academic year, as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). The Academic Achievement Awards, in its 16th year, is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level.

To qualify, a Student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale; must have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work; and must have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year.

Eight Cougars claimed the honor in multiple sports for the total of 84 awards, third most in the CACC.

The full list is below (note that Acrobatics & Tumbling and Sprint Football student-athletes do not qualify for this award, though many achieved the honor, because it is limited to the sports in which Caldwell competes in Division II).
