The Library of Congress is the national library of the United States. It holds many print and digital collections, as well as, assists with research for members of congress, and houses the United States Copyright office. The library is located in Washington D.C.

On September 14, 2016 Carla Hayden was sworn in as the 14th Librarian of Congress. She is both the first woman and first African American to be Librarian of Congress.
