WELCOME TO COUGAR NATION…THE LEGACY CONTINUES!
New student orientation gives the incoming class the opportunity to meet their fellow classmates, pick fall semester classes, and become comfortable with the Caldwell University campus and local community. For parents, New Student Orientation is an event where you can learn about the variety of services and resources available to your student(s), as well as hear from members of the Caldwell University community regarding your student’s transition to a new school.
Attendance at one of the dates below is expected. You will also meet Orientation Leaders who serve as peer leaders and already know what it is like to be a Caldwell University student.
Make sure you have made your tuition deposit. Once you have made your deposit, complete the form below.
Also, because you have earned credit from other institutions, we will need all corresponding, official documents by June 24, 2019 so that your orientation experience can be as thorough as possible.

At your Orientation, you will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics and resources that will help you navigate your CU experience. You will also register for your Fall 2019 semester classes using the Caldwell Portal. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, you will be able to engage with your fellow classmates and members of the CU community!
Orientations begin at 8:00am and conclude around 5:00pm. Students are expected to stay for the duration of the day.
ATTENTION PARENTS: Each New Student Orientation has a concurrent Parent Orientation from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Parents will hear from a number of offices about the resources and opportunities available to students at Caldwell. Tours of the campus and meals throughout the day will also be provided. Although Parent Orientation is not mandatory, it is highly recommended.
More information regarding what to bring and how to prepare for Orientation will be sent in your confirmation emails.
IMPORTANT NOTE : Placement testing MUST also be completed online two weeks PRIOR to your arrival at New Student Orientation. Students who do not complete their placement tests will not be able to register for Fall 2019 classes during orientation.
If you have additional questions or if you need any further information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to seeing you at Orientation!
