The Office of Disability Services seeks to foster independence and to develop the self-advocacy of students with disabilities. In addition, the ODS serves as a liaison and resource to members of the Caldwell University community.

Disability Services for Online Students
On-line students seeking disability accommodations should contact the Office of Disability Services (ODS) for registration, documentation requirements, and accommodation implementation information. Contact Barbara Moran at (973) 618-3645, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please refer to the Office of Disability Services (ODS) Documentation Guidelines and Timelines documents for information about the types of documentation required for specific disabilities and the relevant timelines. The Guideline and Timeline documents can be found on the Office of Disability Services page on the Caldwell University website.
Disability documentation for on-line accommodations is reviewed and approved by the Office of Disability Services and the Special Accommodations Team. Upon approval of documentation, on-line students will receive Office of Disability Services accommodation documents via email. Students are responsible for providing their accommodation documentation to professors for classes in which they wish to use their accommodations. The use of accommodations is not retroactive; accommodations can only be used if accommodation documentation has been provided to professors and professors have acknowledged receipt of the accommodation document to the Office of Disability Services and the student, via email. Please provide disability documentation at least 2-3 weeks prior to the semester and allow 7-10 days for review of disability documentation.
