Scholarship Opportunities

Each year, Alumni Scholarships are granted to deserving students to encourage and promote enrollment at the College. Alumni Scholarships are available to traditional and continuing-education undergraduate students. The students must be relatives of Caldwell alumni – specifically, daughters, sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and parents. They are not limited to incoming freshmen, but are given to students studying in any academic year. The Alumni Scholarship program, which was established in 1949 by the Caldwell University Alumni Association, has awarded more than 125 scholarships and continues to assist students in offsetting the cost of their education.

The Jersey Shore Chapter Continuing Education Scholarship was created to offer financial support for a qualifying female student to continue or complete her undergraduate degree program. Mindful of the expenses associated with returning to school and the financial challenges faced by women in the workplace who do not have a degree, it is the hope of the members of the Shore Chapter that this scholarship will reduce the financial burden and encourage the awarded student to reach her goal of graduation.

The scholarship is awarded for one year. It is to be used for expenses directly related to the cost of education such as tuition, books, and professional fees. A select panel of evaluators will select a recipient based on academic performance, financial need, and potential to succeed. Recipients may be considered for one-year renewal based on re-application, academic progress, and volunteer service to the College.
