Communication Arts Professor John Yurko presented the new film How I Live Now, based on the multiple award-winning novel of the same name by Meg Rosoff at his Saturday Seminar in Contemporary Cinema class on Oct. 26.  His class is held in conjunction with Media Educators Association.  The students and the members of MEA took part in a live Skype interview with Ms Rosoff from her home in London.  The novel is the winner of the British Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize and the American Printz Award for young-adult literature.  The movie was directed by Kevin Macdonal, Academy Award winning director of The King of Scotland.
