Caldwell will wrap up their Midwest swing as they head to Chicago, IL for an exhibition against DePaul University for a second exhibition against the Blue Demons at 1 pm on Saturday, November 7.

The Cougars led by Head Coach Mark Corino, who enters his 28th season, look to return to the CACC Tournament after finishing third place in the North Division in 2014-15. The Cougars finished the season with a 15-13 overall record and were 11-8 in conference play.

“We are extremely excited and fortunate to have the opportunity to play storied Division I programs in Notre Dame and DePaul,” said Corino. “We thank the institutions for allowing our players to gain exposure from these contests which will provide us with a great experience and will be beneficial to the entire growth of the program.”

The Cougars return two of their top three scorers from last season in seniors Dawan Lighty and Billy McDonald. Lighty averaged 15 points per game and 2.4 rebounds per game last season along with a team-best 24 steals, while draining a team-high 53 triples. McDonald averaged 13.4 points and 4.2 rebounds, while shooting 49.1% from the field.
