Preparing Children on the Autism Spectrum for First Communion featured on SiriusXM Satellite Radio

Dr. Ruth DeBar (L) of Caldwell University’s Center for Autism and ABA and Mary Beth Walsh, Ph.D. (R) were guests on The Busted Halo Show with Father Dave Dwyer on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

 

Dr. Ruth DeBar, associate professor and director of outreach at Caldwell University’s Center for Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis, and Dr. Mary Beth Walsh, a mother with a child on the autism spectrum, and editor and contributor to the book “Autism and Faith: A Journey into Community” joined Father Dave Dwyer on The Busted Halo Show on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. They discussed how to prepare children on the autism spectrum for First Communion, the Center’s work in this area, and the resources available to help parents and families.

The Busted Halo Show with Father Dave Dwyer is on Channel 129, Monday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. eastern.
