Caldwell University nursing professor Janet Chance-Hetzler DNP accepting the Lymphology Association of North America research award at the World Congress of Lymphology 2015 on Sept. 11 in San Francisco. Caldwell University nursing professor Janet Chance-Hetzler, DNP of Mendham, N.J. received the Lymphology Association of North America research award at the World Congress of Lymphology 2015 on Sept. 11 in San Francisco.  She was honored at the ceremony for her research on  “Prospective Lymphedema Surveillance in a Clinic Setting.”

She conducted her research in partnership with the breast center at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center University of Missouri Health Care, under the guidance of her advisor Dr. Jane M. Armer.  The associated manuscript is published in the Journal of Personalized Medicine.

“It was an honor to have my research accepted for presentation before such a distinguished audience and it was an even greater honor to have it recognized by this renowned organization,” said Dr. Chance-Hetzler.
