What makes Caldwell University unique or special?

The one-on-one attention from the amazing professors makes all the difference in the world. The students and staff are very kind.

What lessons have you learned at Caldwell University?

I’ve learned that no matter how far-fetched a dream may seem, when I set goals and work methodically towards them, amazing things will happen.

What are your career goals and how has Caldwell University prepared you for them?

I am going to be a writer in television.

What was your biggest achievement at Caldwell University?

As an adult student, I wanted to be sure to take advantage of all the opportunities going to college afforded me. As someone who hopes to work in television, I worked very hard at my internships at The Late Show with David Letterman, Saturday Night Live, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I also have to say that passing the Capstone Exam with Distinction was fantastic – because that is one tough test.

What activities were you involved in at Caldwell University?

I worked on the student newspaper, The Kettle, and was the Editor-in-Chief for one semester. I also contributed pieces to the literary magazine, The Calyx. I worked as a writing tutor in the Academic Support Center, and enjoyed playing the violin with the orchestra. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to work in the Media Relations Department at Caldwell University. I loved the experience and it taught me a great deal about the challenges of writing on deadline.
