Meet the E-Board

Hello HPC members! My name is Koumudi Thirunagaru (Kay for short), and I will be serving as your President for the academic year 2015-2016. I am a junior majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry and Spanish. I plan to go to medical school after graduating from Caldwell University.
I have been a part of HPC for 2 years and served as the Vice President last year. I have enjoyed my time and learned a great amount as both a member and officer. I have watched the club grow over the years and hope it will continue to do so. I am excited to see not only what we can do as an E-Board for you, but what we can do together as a club!

Should you have any questions, concerns, or just want to talk, do not hesitate to contact me or find me around campus! I am here to help and would love to be any assistance to you! Looking forward to making this yet another year of success and growth!

Vice President:

Hello! My name is Yara Abdelnaby and I will be serving as HPC’s Vice President for year 2015-2016. I am a junior majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. I am planning on applying to dental school.I joined HPC as a member in my freshmen year and served as a secretary in my sophomore year. Joining HPC was a life changing experience for me as it helped me to be active on campus, more involved in the community, and above all strengthen my passion for helping others. Please do not hesitate to stop me if you see me on campus and let me know how can I help you.

Hi there, HPC members. My name is Friahne Desiongco and I will be serving as your secretary for the academic year 2015-1016. I am a biology major and a sophomore in Caldwell University. I have been a member of the Health Professions Club for one year now. Coming in as a freshman, I did not know much about what was required of me as a biology major, let alone what was required of me as a student who wants to attend medical school. The Health Professions Club helped me greatly and put me on the right track. I learned new and useful information and had the opportunity to volunteer and help out my community! Being an active member of such a motivating and exciting club was not enough for me. I wanted to see the club progress. I wanted to help the club like it has helped me, and this prompted me to become an E Board member and now your HPC secretary! As an eBoard member, I hope to get to know each and everyone of you, and I hope to help make your experience, as a member of the HPC, this academic year, an unforgettable one!

Hello, my name is Kirsten Whitt and I am a senior majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. I have been a member of HPC since my freshman year and am excited to be the treasurer of the club now. If you ever need any help planning for classes feel free to contact me anytime!
