Sunday, May 20, 2018, 10:00 a.m.
George R. Newman Center
The Graduate Commencement Ceremony and Conferring of Degrees will begin at 10:00 a.m. Guests should be seated in advance of the procession.
Ticket-bearing guests are invited to attend the Graduate Commencement Ceremony in the Newman Center. Each graduate participating in the graduate ceremony will receive six tickets for guests (the graduate does not need a ticket). Graduates must pick up tickets at Salute to Grads on April 24, 2018. These tickets cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Tickets must be presented for admission on Commencement Day.
Guest seating in the Newman Center is designated as the floor seats that are not reserved for the graduates, faculty, and other identified special guests. All guests, including children, must have a ticket to enter. Doors open at approximately 9:15 a.m.; guests should be seated by 9:45 a.m. for the Academic Procession, and plan to remain for the entire ceremony. Caldwell University recognizes the accomplishments of all of our graduates and will announce the name of each ceremony participant, therefore, it is expected that guests will remain for the entire ceremony as a courtesy to our graduates and their guests.
For guests of graduates without tickets, there are additional locations for simulcast viewing of the Graduate Commencement Ceremony on May 20, 2018 in the Student Center Dining Hall and Cougar Den areas. Tickets are not needed for entry to these spaces which operate on a first-come first-served basis, with limited seating.
Please be aware the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony is held in the afternoon on May 20, 2018; Campus officials will begin clearing the plaza at 12 noon for the next ceremony.
