Sheila O’Rourke, vice president for administration and operations, and President Matthew Whelan received the masks from Mark Giuliano, coordinator of OEM for the Borough of Caldwell.

Caldwell, N.J., Nov. 2 – Caldwell University has received a donation of 5,000 masks from the Borough of Caldwell’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM).  

President Matthew Whelan, Ed.D, and Sheila O’Rourke, vice president for administration and operations, received the PPE from Mark Giuliano, coordinator of OEM for the Borough, on Oct. 28 on campus. 

“Caldwell University and the Caldwell OEM, police, fire, and first aid departments enjoy an excellent collaborative relationship. We are grateful to Mark Guiliano and our partners in the Caldwell OEM for including us in their request for masks,” said O’Rourke.

 “In our efforts to provide a safe environment on campus through COVID, the University has required vaccinations and the wearing of masks.  This generous donation will enable us to provide a safer campus environment for all.”
