Professor Weber created a series of 10 lectures on Italian opera to be given in Italian or English, to Italian classes or community groups. It is called “An Invitation to Italian Opera.” Professor Weber’s research interests include Italian Opera as a reflection of Italian culture and history. She is also very interested in the field of linguistics, especially sociolinguistics. Her interdisciplinary interests also include world geography which she teaches on a regular basis.
