Helping Teens Stay Healthy in a Sex-saturated Culture

Postponed. Look for new date and time in the fall!

When we find that nearly 2/3 of teens that have had sex wish they had waited, and we see an epidemic of STDs in those under 25, it's time to reevaluate the message we're sending about early sex. The good news is that more than half of high school students are not having sex. How do we capitalize on that and successfully run a "Dr. Phil" version of "How's that working for you?" to help those already involved evaluate and make healthier choices? The evening will include a look at where we are as a culture, how we got here and how we can successfully make the necessary changes to empower young people with a health message that leads to successful future family formation.
