What makes Caldwell College unique or special?
As an adult undergraduate student, I was impressed with the student citizenship and the culture around the school. It is such a mixed community, but there was never a disconnect between the adult and traditional undergraduate populations.

What are your future career goals and how has Caldwell College prepared you for them?
When I first decided to go back for my degree, it was more of a personal decision. My son was coming up on his junior year of high school, and he was asking why he should go to college if I never did. I wanted to lead by example and show him that you can set goals and reach them.

More recently I have seen how my education is also helping me in my career. I am a Human Resources professional for a biopharmaceutical company, and over the past two years I have been given more responsibility and have been seen as more of an individual contributor rather than a support person.

What lessons have you learned at Caldwell College?
I have learned to be more patient and to see every single situation as an opportunity to learn a lesson, whether it be for myself or to share with others.

What was your biggest achievement at Caldwell College?
I have developed a lot of relationships and maximized the connections I have made here. I have been able to call on a lot of resources and build a strong network.

What activities were you involved in at Caldwell College?
I have been in touch with the Student Government Association to start a new club on campus. I am also hoping to invite Caldwell College representatives into my company to speak to my colleagues about the continuing education programs. I think there are many people there who would love to know what Caldwell has to offer busy professionals.
