Why did you choose Caldwell College?
I liked the fact that there was a really good student- faculty rate. I was looking for colleges in the U.S. and noticed that Caldwell College was rated highly in a nationally published ranking of colleges in the Northeast.

Activities and Interests
I have worked in the Admissions office as a tour guide, office assistant, and data entry specialist and I worked on special projects for the Vice President of Enrollment. I took part in several campus ministry events including rebuilding for the poor on an Alternative Winter Break in Applachia, volunteering for the homeless at Midnight Runs in New York City and volunteering at the soup kitchen in Newark. I was a founding member of the Cricket Club. I am a huge fan of soccer and the Liverpool Football club. I have also been a tutor in the Academic Support Center and I am a Caldwell College Scholar.

Career Plans
My aim is to go to graduate school and get my Ph.D. in economics. My dream would be to work for the United Nations or an NGO ( non-governmental organization) and be able to help people in the villages in Nepal. When I was growing up I watched my Father go to work for a national bank and I dreamed of doing that one day. I would like to go a step forward maybe work for a bank that provides aid to the poor.

What else?
Before coming here (Caldwell College) I was reluctant to take the Theology classes since I am Hindu. However, it was really nice to study about Christians' and everyone's responsibilities towards society rather than just focusing on the religious aspect of Christianity. In addition, the care provided by the faculty and staff here is something very hard to find anywhere else.

Saying that inspires him to keep moving forward
Oh hawk, don’t be scared by these gusts of wind that hit you. They are meant to make you fly higher, higher and higher. (author unknown).
