Daniel A. Gerardi. Ph.D.
Career Profile: Currently the Superintendent of Schools for the Caldwell-West Caldwell Board of Education, Daniel A. Gerardi has dedicated his entire career to education. Starting as a classroom teacher for the Archdiocese of New York, Daniel later became an Assistant Principal in Pearl River, NY and then a Principal in the Caldwell-West Caldwell school district. He has also been an adjunct faculty member at City University of New York.
Community Involvement: In addition to serving on the Caldwell College Board of Trustees, Daniel is a member of the Advisory Board at Essex County College, as well as a member and past president of the Rotary Club of the Caldwells. He is also an active member of his church community, having served as lector, Parish Trustee, and Cardinal's Appeal Chair at St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Bronx, NY.
Education: Daniel earned a B.S. in Social Studies Education from New York University, a M.S. in Reading Education from Herbert H. Lehman College in Bronx, NY, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the Steinhart School of Education at New York University.
