INTERESTED STUDENTS MUST:
- Meet the qualifications required by the visiting program
- Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA until time of departure
- Be in good academic and social/judicial standing until time of departure
- Have their final 30 credits taken at Caldwell
- Meet with their academic advisor and relevant Department Chairs to identify courses and obtain approval
- Submit an application to the visiting Program by their deadline
- Submit a Caldwell Study Abroad application to the Center for Student Success by the program’s deadline
- Meet with the Office of Financial Aid to discuss any financial implications
- Obtain comprehensive sickness and accident insurance through the visiting Program or through Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI)
- Hold a Passport that is valid six months after the return date and obtain any necessary Visas

A complete Caldwell Short-Term Study Abroad Application requires:
- Student Application Form
- $300 non-refundable deposit
- Proof of Health Insurance
- Faculty Recommendation
- Unofficial Transcript
- Picture of self
- Copy of Passport, which must be valid six months after the return date
- Signed Statement of Guest Policy Form
- Signed Student Applicant Guidelines
- Signed Statement of Acknowledgement, Consent, and Release Agreement pick up from Center for Student Success
