Download the C-Book in a PDF!2009-2010 C-Book & Residence Hall Handbook

If you don't yet have Acrobat Reader, it is available as a free download on the Acrobat Reader® web site. The Caldwell College C-Book has been published to encourage student awareness of campus life and activities. It functions as a handbook to guide our new students and to keep our upperclassmen updated on community, as well as, college events. This publication contains information about student government, yearly traditions, campus regulations, and organizations available for extracurricular activities. A calendar of events is included for ready reference.

If there are any questions not answered by our C-Book, feel free to consult the Student Government Association. Our office is located in the George R. Newman Center.

Parents of Residents

As you watch your student walk off into their new chapter in life at Caldwell College, there are many questions that you may have;

Will they be alright?

Will they remember to set the alarm and get to class on time?

Will they eat right?

Although the Residence Life Office of Caldwell College may not be able to make sure that your student will remember to set their alarm, we will be able to help both you and your student make this transition. This site will answer some of the questions you may have and help you as you as well embark in your new chapter as a Caldwell College parent.

Residence Halls provides a vital component to the overall college experience of the Caldwell College student.

Where will my student be living?

Caldwell College houses two residence halls, Mother Joseph Residence Hall and Dominican Hall. The Residence Halls are all monitored by trained Resident Assistants who provide the students with a peer advocate whom they can refer questions to and just have a chat with in regards to what is going on with them. We offer programs and services that assist in the development of well-rounded individuals capable of making positive, self-directed choices consistent with the educational mission of Caldwell College.

Important People to Know

Each residence hall is housed by a Resident Assistant, also known as an RA and a Resident Director Assistant. All of these staff members are specially trained to assist students in their adjustment to college life while ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment. The Director and Assistant Director of Residence Life oversee all aspects of the Residence Hall.
