Each suite has a furnished common area with a dining set, sofa, chair and television stand. The residence hall rooms are equipped with cable television service, local telephone service including voicemail, and data ports for high speed internet access. A lounge with a large plasma television and a recycling area are located each floor. The 3rd and 2nd floor each has an additional computer room used for printing, group or individual study and meetings. Laundry facilities are located on the lower level, 2nd and 3rd floors. The 1st floor is home to our commuter lounge which is used for a variety of events and programs but is open for use to residents. Residents may access the lounge from within the building next to the front desk which is staffed 24hrs day 7 days’ week. The commuter lounge has a pool table, microwave, a sink area, a large plasma TV and a large selection comfortable couches and furniture.
All residents participate in the campus food plan which provides three meals each class day, an opportunity to purchase a la carte options through Flex Dollars and brunch and dinner on weekends and holidays. All meals are available for students in the Student Center.
The residence halls are administered by the Director and Assistant Director of Residence Life, the Graduate Resident Directors with the support of the undergraduate Resident Assistant student staff. The Resident Assistant plays an integral part in the overall operation of the residence halls. RAs help to develop community, plan programs, answer questions, and generally serve as a resource for Residents.
