Caldwell College Students Go Over The Top For St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Caldwell College raised $11,603.00 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to benefit children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. The 6-month long effort culminated on Friday April 13 with students staying “Up Til Dawn” for a lock-in fundraiser, which took place from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. The college students far surpassed their original goal of $5,000. They raised money throughout the year by organizing bake sales, lollipop sales, and “canning” for spare change. Area businesses that supported the students’ efforts were Pizza & Sandwich Barn, Cedar Grill & Pizza, Applebees, California Pizza Kitchen, Caldwell Diner and Ottos.
