Caldwell College Leading the Way in the NJ STARS II Scholarship Program
Caldwell is the Only 4-Year Private College in the State to Offer Awards
(Caldwell, NJ): Caldwell College is proud to announce its affiliation with the NJ STARS Scholarship Program and is taking the lead by being the first and only 4-year private college in New Jersey to come on board.
NJ STARS is an initiative created by the state of New Jersey to provide access to higher education to some of the state’s highest achieving students. Students who graduate in the top 20% of their high school class may be eligible to receive up to 5 semesters of tuition and approved fees free of charge at their local county college.
The NJ STARS II program enables successful NJ STARS scholars to transfer to a New Jersey four-year public college or university and earn a bachelor’s degree at no cost for tuition and approved fees. Caldwell College has jumped on board with a modified version of the state’s plan to offer an option for NJ STARS scholars seeking a private education instead of a public one. Caldwell’s NJ STARS II scholarships range from $8,000 to full tuition.
“We are very proud to be offering this program to some of our state’s brightest students,” said Kathryn Reilly, Caldwell College’s Director of Admissions. “We want to make sure students have options when deciding where and how to complete their degrees. Caldwell provides students with close, personal attention, an outstanding faculty and a campus rich in technical upgrades. It’s a great alternative for many NJ STARS scholars.”
Caldwell College also offers several other scholarship and grant programs. For more information, please contact the Office of Admissions, 973-618-3000 and select option 1.
