Presentation Kicks Off University’s 75th Anniversary Celebrations

Caldwell, N.J., Aug. 13, 2014 – Father Paul Murray, O.P., a member of the Irish Dominican Province and a professor of spiritual theology at the Angelicum in Rome, will speak at Caldwell University at 4 p.m. Sept. 18 on his recent book, “Scars: Essays, Poems and Meditations on Affliction.”  The event, which will be held in the Alumni Theatre, is free and open to the public and kicks off the university’s 75th anniversary celebrations.  Father Murray is president of the Spirituality Institute and serves as spiritual director at the Convitto Internazionale San Tommaso, a pontifical college for young diocesan priests from all over the world.  He has published several works.  A book signing will follow his presentation in the lobby of the Alumni Theatre.

The event is one of many to be held throughout the year celebrating the university’s 75th anniversary.
