THE EDUCATION DIVISION WINNING HOLIDAY DOOR EXTENDED DOWN THE HALLWAY!
On Tuesday December 7, 2010, the Caldwell College Staff Council hosted a Holiday Door Decorating Contest. The response was overwhelmingly positive. There were over fourteen entries. The contest was judged by an esteemed panel of judges, Nancy Blattner, Heather Eaton-Dwyer, Meghan Moran, and student representative, Dan (Bubba) Gaffney. The judges were impressed with the entries and had a very difficult decision. After much deliberation, The Library and The Education Department were chosen as the winners.
The Library display included a Christmas Tree created using Reference Books, as well as original poems, lyrics, and stories written by the staff. The Education Department represented each member of the department on Elf bodies, which were hand decorated and displayed throughout the hallway.
It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm and creativity of all of the participants. The winning departments will be treated to a breakfast hosted by the Staff Council.
