Caldwell College Men's Soccer Coach Jamie Nash has been honored with a New Jersey Assembly Resolution for his coaching and leadership accomplishments. The resolution was presented to Nash in December by Assemblyman Thomas Giblin of the 34th Legislative district.

The Assembly Resolution paid tribute to Nash for being named CACC Coach of the year for soccer during fall 2008. The resolution also recognized that Nash has served with distinction as Head Coach of the Caldwell College Men's Soccer team for the past nine years and guided the Caldwell College Cougars to the CACC regular season title, which is the first regular season championship since 1993. The resolution stated that Nash, "who has also played as a member of the Caldwell Cougars, has served as a model and standard of personal and sporting excellence to the athletes in his charge," and that "their determination, developed skills, and competitive spirit are the products of lessons well taught by Coach Nash."

"We are very proud of Jamie and the accomplishments of his team. This is a great honor for him," said Mark A. Corino, Executive Director of Athletics at Caldwell College. "Jamie has been a part of the Caldwell family for many years and his loyalty is unquestioned. He is another example of the fine staff we have in our department, all of whom are committed to the development of our students."

A former standout player for the Cougars who holds the program record for career assists, Nash has an overall coaching record of 81-78-16
