Caldwell College Introduces New Business Fundamentals Certificate

Caldwell College is offering a new Business Fundamentals certificate for anyone with or without a baccalaureate or graduate degree who is seeking a short program of study in the area of business.

The new certificate has been specially designed to cover the basics of business for people employed in industry but who may lack formal business training. It is also designed for people who want to start their own business and have limited background or expertise in business. “The Business Fundamentals Certificate will deliver a practical taste of business for the non-business major who, perhaps unexpectedly, finds him or herself in a work environment where, in order to advance, it is essential to speak the ‘language of business’”, said Bernard O’Rourke, J.D., Chair of the Businsess Divison.

The new Business Fundamentals certificate is a 12-credit non-matriculating program, completed at student’s self-directed pace, which offers courses carefully selected from Caldwell College’s existing undergraduate business courses.

Business degrees awarded by Caldwell College’s business program are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP).
