Substance Awareness Office Brings Drunk Driving Simulator to Campus
More than 150 students gathered in Caldwell College's Student Center on March 31 to interact with the "Aware III Driving Simulator". The device is used to show drivers how their ability to drive can become substantially impaired due to drinking, inclement weather, and emergency situations. The Substance Awareness Counseling office sponsored this event. Sandy Rock, Caldwell's substance awareness counselor said, "This is an interesting way to provide our students with the information needed to make healthy life choices through the use of creative educational material. My aim is that through drunk driving and AOD education, we will be able impact students to make positive life choices."
