Caldwell College Celebrates Founders Day
A special Founders Day Mass and celebration were held on Wednesday March 12, the day the Catholic Church celebrated the feast of St. Joseph this year. Sister Barbara Krug spoke movingly of how Mother Joseph Dunn's influence lives on today all throughout the world by those Caldwell College alumni who live out the Catholic Dominican tradition in their lives. And she spoke about how current faculty, staff and students still carry the vision today in their daily work and studies.
Mother Joseph Dunn was surely smiling proudly as her Grandniece, Caldwell College sophomore, Meghan Dunn did the first reading at Mass.
After mass, Caldwell College employees were honored for their years of service to the College community.
Sister Patrice was honored by Board of Trustees Chair Steve Freeman for 35 years of service to Caldwell College.
