Caldwell College Student Awarded Scholarship from Accounting Society

Caldwell College Student Johanny Caraballo

Fairfield, NJ accounting firm Smolin Lupin has awarded its 2011 NJSCPA scholarship to Caldwell College student Johanny Caraballo. This marks the first time that Smolin has pre-assigned its scholarship to a Caldwell College student, rather than allocating the funds to the general pool of students from many colleges. Caraballo will accept the $4,000 scholarship at the 51st annual NJSCPA Scholarship Awards Ceremony on April 28.

The New Jersey Society of CPAs (NJSCPA) Scholarship Fund was created to attract N.J. students into the accounting field, encourage them to pursue advanced education, and increase awareness of the opportunities available in the CPA field. The fund has awarded over $3.1 million to more than 1,400 N.J. students.
