What are the system requirements for using Live Text?
Minimum requirement for using Live Text is an internet access. The preferred browsers are:
For Windows 98 SR2, 2000, NT, Me, and XP: Firefox 1.0+, Netscape 7.2+ , or Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+
For Mac OS 10.2 and Mac OS 10.3: Firefox 1.0+
How do I purchase Live Text membership?
You may purchase Live Text membership online by at the LiveText website. Please follow the directions of purchasing online membership here.
How long does Live Text membership last?
Initial Live Text membership is valid for 5 years
May I continue my Live Text membership after graduation?
You may prolong your membership after initial 5 years for about $18.00 a year.
How do I transfer my Live Text account from another College/university?
If you are transferring your Live Text account from another institution you need to call Live Text directly at (866) 548-3839 and ask for Technical Support.
Please give the Technical Support Specialist the following information:
1. Caldwell College student ID number
2. Caldwell College email
3. Old school Id number
4. Old school email
How do I sign up for Live Text Open Session?
To reserve your seat for Live Text Session, please send an email at least one week prior to the session to livetext@caldwell.edu
