How to use recurrance
Type:
• One Time: Use this when your event will only occur one time.
• Daily: Use this if your event spans multipul consecutive days, such as an event that goes from Monday the 4th through Thursday the 7th
• Weekly: Use this when your event occurs on the same day each week. Example, you have a class that meets every Tuesday.
• Monthly: Use this when your event occurs on the same numbered date on a monthly basis. Example: A meeting that occurs on the 14th of every month. *note* do NOT use this if you want to schedule for the first monday of each month, this option will not accomplish that.
Interval:
• This option should usually be set to 1. Its value indicates the interval between occurences of the event based on the interval type. Setting it to 3 on weekly will schedule the event once every 3 weeks. Setting it to 2 on daily will have the event occur every other day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, Tuesday, etc)
Number of occurances:
• This determines how many times the event will occur. Leave it at one if it is a one time event, Otherwise set it to how many times you will need equipment for the event. If you have a Monday through Friday conference and you need equipment every day, set the occurances to 5, if you need equipment for a class that meets for 15 weeks, put 15.
Other Notes:
• This form can not accept complex occurence patterns beyond what is described above. If your event has a complicated schedule that cannot be accomidated by the rules above, you may need to submit multipul requests. One example of this would be a class that meets on different days of the week. If you have a Tuesday and Thursday class and want to schedule equipment for the entire semester, you will need to make two requests, one for Tuesday and one for Thursday.
* Equipment with an * must be picked up, signed out and returned
to the IT Help Desk office in the Administration building.
All requests should be submitted 48 hours in advance and are filled
on a first come, first serve basis.
Please contact the IT Help Desk at extension 2222 if you have
any question.
When you hit submit an appointment will be sent to your Caldwell E-mail account that you used to log into this page. This usually happens within seconds. If you do not get an appointment after a few minutes please fill out the form again.
