Head Women’s Tennis Coach (Part-Time)

Caldwell College invites applications for a part-time Head Women’s Tennis Coach. Reporting to the Executive Director, Athletics, the Head Coach is responsible for directing, supervising and overseeing all activities of the coaching staff and team while communicating and integrating the mission of the College and the philosophy of the Athletics Department into the program. Job Duties include, but are not limited to, advising the Athletics staff and Tennis team of CACC and NCAA rules and policies and ensuring compliance with those rules and policies, supervising all games, scrimmages and practices, recruiting student-athletes and recommending students who should receive athletic grant and scholarships, working with compliance office to maintain accurate records, passing the NCAA Coaches Certification Test, surveying opponents when applicable, supplying the Director, Athletic Communications with team and individual student athlete information, preparing and submitting the annual budget, ensuring travel arrangements, driving if necessary, overseeing the preparation, distribution, and collection of equipment inventory for the tennis program, developing and executing the team philosophy, representing the institution at meetings and conferences, and participating in various College and Athletic functions.
Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, plus one to two years of effective experience required. Must have a valid driver’s license. Candidates must be willing to support the Catholic Dominican, liberal arts mission of the College.
Assistant Men’s Baseball Coach (PT)

Caldwell College invites applications for a part-time Assistant Baseball Coach beginning Fall 2013. Reporting to the Head Coach, the Assistant Baseball Coach is responsible for assisting with team coaching duties and student athlete management. The Assistant Coach is also responsible for directing and overseeing all activities the team participates in, while communicating and integrating the mission of the College and the philosophy of the Athletic Department within the program. Job Duties include but are not limited to, assisting with student athlete recruitment, ensuring proper maintenance of records, supplying the compliance officer with required paperwork, supporting the head coach in the coaching and managing the total intercollegiate program, scouting opponents when applicable, assisting in the coaching and supervising of all games, scrimmages, and practices, making travel arrangements, and driving vehicles if necessary.
Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, plus one to two years of effective experience required. Must have a valid driver’s license. CPR certification and the successful completion of the NCAA recruiting test will also be required after the employee has been hired. Candidates must be willing to support the Catholic Dominican, liberal arts mission of the College.
