The meaning of 4 + 4 comes from the exhibition’s design. Four visual artists, Suzanne Kammin Baron, David Rios Ferreira, Catherine LeCleire and Anker West were invited to participate and each of the four artists will independently invite another creative individual to share a designated area in the gallery or adjacent outdoor spaces. ‘”Rising Tide” is inherently an open-ended and experimental venture that borrows from the curatorial approach known as ‘relational aesthetics’.
